REFORMING
Due to shipping and packaging, the design may occasionally become slightly deformed. Please follow the instructions below to reshape the smocking and restore it to its original pattern.
STEAM
Use a steamer or iron steam to warm up the fabric of the smocking that is deformed. Do not flatten it with your hand while steaming.
REFORM
While the fabric is warm from the steam. rub the pleats so they are poking out. Gently pull the little petals/puffs back into place with your fingers.
Work section by section instead of trying to fix the whole piece at once. This gives you better control over the flower shape.
REPEAT
Repeat the first 2 steps until the smocking reforms. sometimes have to go over the same spot multiply times for it to look .
Let it cool and dry in shape so the smocking holds its form.
